Wiley “Updates” Sites
Site Notes: A top notch editor from John Wiley & Sons wanted a way to stay in front of the professors and students rather than just sell a book and talk to them again when the next edition is ready. We came up with an “Update” site where professors and students can check in each week to see how today’s headline news relates to the ideas and concepts they are learning in the classroom (with their book). What started out as a single site for a single book turned into many sites covering many topics and titles. The results are outstanding – now they’re building long term relationships with customers. Real relationships where they talk every week instead of with every new edition. Now that sure beats a fancy four-color brochure!
